K-pop sensation NewJeans is also part of the lineup.

South Korean boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) will be making history as they are set to become the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza.

The Chicago-based music festival released its official lineup for this year and TXT will be co-headlining with The 1975, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Rey, and Karol G.

TXT also set records last year as they were the first K-pop group to perform at Lollapalooza.

The group made their much-awaited comeback in January with The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, which featured the song, “Sugar Rush Ride.”

“OMG” hitmaker NewJeans will also make their debut at this year's Lollapalooza as the first female K-pop artist to perform at the festival.

Also set to perform are NIKI, DPR IAN + DPR LIVE, Carly Rae Jepsen, beabadoobee, The Rose, among others.

This year's Lollapalooza is happening from August 3 to 6 at Grant Park.

Last year, J-hope of the global group BTS headlined Lollapalooza.

Meanwhile, TXT played two shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in October, where they treated Filipino MOAs with their short cover of The Itchyworms's “Akin Ka Na Lang.”
